To our Mud community:
2020 has been a tough start.
There is no denying we’re in a very strange, difficult and unprecedented place.
For now we have closed the doors of our LA, NYC and London stores as a temporary measure to keep our teams and communities safe.
Our Australian stores, as of March 24th are still trading under strict social distancing rules, meaning we can only allow 2 people on the shop floor at one time. Our staff are practicing social distancing and keeping surfaces and products spotless.
Our website is trading as usual and we’re working hard to make our blog a hub of uplifting and useful information. We’ll be sharing recipes from our chef and cook friends, stories to read, podcasts to fill the hours at home and films to escape in. We’re here to inform, soothe and entertain you during these trying times.
We also want to give back to our communities where we can and help those in need.
This week in Australia for every purchase made in a Mud store and our online store, we’re shouting a coffee to a healthcare worker through the ‘Buy Them a Coffee’ initiative. We’re also launching a #sharethemudslice campaign encouraging you to share with your community to introduce our new product, the Slice Tray. These may be small gestures but this is what helps to keep a community strong.
We’re also a two-way operation, and we’d love to hear from you! If you have any ideas, recipes to share or you know of any great initiatives we’d love to hear about them. Please email us at email@example.com. Also remember to keep in touch via Instagram using the tag #mudaustralia. So please share your recipes, activities and what you’re doing to stay sane, healthy and happy.
It’s hard not to feel powerless in unfamiliar territory, but it’s important to remember that banding together and supporting where you can is the only way to ride out this storm.
We wish you and your families health and safety in the coming months.
