A Fresh Take on Thanksgiving with Trinity Mouzon & Issey Kobori

Trinity Mouzon & Issey Kobori – founder of Golde superfoods – Saratoga, Upstate New York

Trinity and Issey have their own traditions, however they’re not big on the classics – there’s not a turkey to be seen as Issey’s family have been pescatarian since he was a child. Every Thanksgiving, Issey’s mom prepares a feast that could easily feed 20 people. The menu always includes salmon, roasted brussel sprouts, and cream of spinach. Trinity makes a delicious cranberry chutney instead of a more traditional cranberry sauce — “it’s nice because it’s not too sweet but still has that classic feel”.  Trinity’s mom is big on using dried plants and flowers to create centerpieces.

“Issey’s Mom always has a really classic fall tablecloth. Trinity’s mom is big on using dried plants and flowers to create centerpieces. And of course there is always Mud on the table because those are the only plates Issey’s parents use!”
